Alexis Pinturault, injured in his left knee in a fall during the super-G in Wengen, is forced to end his season, indicated the French Ski Federation (FFS).
“He suffered from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee.specified the FFS. His season is over.”
The 32-year-old Frenchman, combined world champion last winter, fell following a jump and had to be evacuated by helicopter to Interlaken hospital.
