Alexandre Texier will be back with the Columbus Blue Jackets to play next season.
The 23-year-old French forward was sidelined by the NHL this season, having been plagued by personal issues – namely the loss of two family members in a short space of time a year ago .
“Alexandre Texier is an exceptional young player who is an important part of our team, and we are happy to have him join our team next season as planned,” said Blue Jackets general manager Jarmo Kekalainen. “His well-being has been our priority and we are thrilled to see that he is ready to return to a promising NHL career. »
