Alexander Lukashenko threatens Belarus to go to war: “Everyone is ready”

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko wants a Russian air defense system west of the capital Minsk and is threatening to get involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko wants an additional S-400 air defense system from Russia. That’s why he turned to President Vladimir Putin, Lukashenko said on Tuesday, according to the Belta state agency. It should be placed west of the capital Minsk. So far there is such a system in the south-east of the country on the border with Ukraine.

At the same time, Lukashenko threatened to intervene in the war of ally Russia once morest Ukraine if Belarus was in danger. “They are ready. Everyone is ready.” Lukashenko had previously said once more that no Belarusian troops were deployed to the war in neighboring Ukraine.

However, there were media reports that the Belarusian military had been seen in the Chernihiv region on the border with Belarus.

Ukraine’s secret service: 300 Belarusian tanks at the border

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia is also preparing a provocation to justify the involvement of Belarusian troops in the fighting. The secret service announced on social media that around 300 Belarusian tanks had gathered near the border with Ukraine.
