The newly composed Swedish P15 national team, with boys born in 2009, played their first international match together last Thursday. However, neither of the two DIF representatives was present from the start at Öland’s Ekerum Park, where Sweden took the lead in the first half.
In the 66th minute, Djurgården’s centre-back Warren Ngana was replaced and with a quarter of an hour left, it was time for Alexander Lindgren to enter. Nine minutes later, Alexander had introduced himself when he managed a cross in the 84th minute to make it 2-0 to Sweden, which was also the final score.
Return match against Finland awaits on Sunday.
