Alexander Bolschunow: Cross-country star criticizes the format of the Tour de Ski

In contrast to Norway’s exceptional runner and sprint ace Johannes Hösflot Kläbo, Bolschunow specializes in long distances.

A total of two sprint competitions are on the program during the Tour de Ski this season.

After three of six stages, the Russian is currently third in the Tour rating. The gap to leader Kläbo is 47 seconds. On New Year’s Eve in Oberstdorf the hit Furthermore, Norwegians versus Russians in the mass start over 15 kilometers in free style.

The next race is now on the program for the New Year – a sprint in Oberstdorf. It can be assumed that Kläbo will expand its lead.

And what regarding Bolshunov? He no longer sees a “long and difficult stage event” in the Tour de Ski.
