Forward Alex Galchenyuk saw his pro trial with the Colorado Avalanche come to an end on Wednesday, so he will once once more have to convince a team to give him another chance.
The news was reported by The Athletic website reporter Peter Baugh.
The former color holder of the Montreal Canadiens had obtained last week the opportunity to show his know-how within the formation champion in title of the Stanley Cup.
He also participated in Sunday’s preseason game once morest the Minnesota Wild, a 3-2 overtime loss. Galchenyuk was cleared in around 17 minutes.
The 28-year-old skater’s career took a wrong turn following his move to Montreal.
The third overall pick in the 2012 draft has moved from one organization to another since the trade that sent him to the Arizona Coyotes in June 2018.
He did, however, have 60 games to show off his skills with the ‘Yotes’, who brought him back into their fold last season. He had six goals and 15 assists for 21 points.
