For the past few days, we have sadly heard a lot about Alex Galchenyuk. The attacker, who had just agreed with the Coyotes, saw his contract terminated by the Arizona club following an arrest where he behaved very moved.

But in fact, it goes even beyond his performances on the ice: Igor Larionov, who was Galchenyuk’s agent at the start of his career, claims that he was fired by the player’s clan because he refused to acquiesce to the father’s request to demand more playing time in Montreal.

Larionov worked together with Ian Pulver, who also represented the former CH striker. However, in 2015, the association between the two agents and the player’s clan suddenly ended, even though Galchenyuk had to negotiate a new contract.

The Hall of Famer claimed Chucky needed to be a little more patient rather than demanding more ice time, but Galchenyuk’s dad obviously didn’t like it.

The Russian hockey man explains that he worked hard to make Galchenyuk a better player and, above all, a better human being, even going so far as to say that he spoke to his client more often than to his wife during this time. But despite everything, the player and his family did not want to know anything: Chucky wanted to spend more time on the ice, and he wanted to do it playing center.

This led to the dismissal of Igor Larionov and Ian Pulver, who were replaced by Pat Brisson.
