Alex Albon punishes Schumacher for obstruction / F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix[F1-Gate .com]

Alex Albon (Williams) was punished for obstructing Mick Schumacher (Haas F1 Team) in the first free practice session of the 2022 F1 Round 2 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Mick Schumacher was blocked by Alex Albon on turns 8 and 8 of the Jeddah Cornish circuit during the fastest lap.

Steward reports that Alex Albon said Mick Schumacher “I saw him in the mirror, but I was worried about locking the brakes, so I let him pass without slowing down.” I received it.

Steward agreed that the incident did not cause a dangerous situation, but Mick Schumacher was blocked by the fastest lap and determined to be a violation of regulation.
