According to witnesses, the man could be driving a black Mercedes station wagon with stolen license plates. The man, who escaped from a clinic in Lower Bavaria, is considered violent. Anyone with information should immediately call the police emergency number 133, according to a press release from the state police headquarters.
Only on August 22, a 28-year-old accomplice of the man was arrested in Styria. Together with two other criminals, they had escaped from a closed facility in Straubing in Lower Bavaria in mid-August and had attacked, threatened and detained a hospital employee.
The car in which the man wanted in the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld district is now said to be traveling, according to witnesses, is likely to have been stolen, as are the license plates.
