German police received information on Friday that images on social media showed a target designed and placed on spectators outside the stadium.

The image was allegedly created by ISIS-K, an offshoot of the Islamic State group based in Afghanistan. This is the group that claimed responsibility for the deadly attack on Crocus City Hall, on the outskirts of Moscow. A spokesman for the Munich Police Department told the German agency dpa that the image in question has been evaluated and there are no specific indications of danger.
For the German derby, 300 to 500 police officers would have to be deployed. “We are now increasing this number” pointed out the Police representative.
