Alert: Consumer Recall of Tropicana Multivitamin Juice Due to Yeast Contamination

The government’s “consumer recall” site is launching a recall of Tropicana multivitamin juice sold in supermarkets. This juice should not be consumed due to a risk of yeast contamination.

This consumer recall concerns Multivitamin fruit juice from the Tropicana brand in a 1.5L bottle. It has been sold in the Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Monoprix, Leclerc, Intermarché and Système U brands throughout France since August 30, 2023. Its withdrawal from stores was effective on September 4, 2023.

This is the lot 0004603145: recommended consumption date 02/29/2024 and batch 0004603145 Recommended consumption date 02/29/2024.

There are risks of contaminationa Candida Tropicalisa yeast which can cause candidiasis, a superficial infection of the mucous membranes, the skin or even visceral infections.
