Cameroon has reinforced epidemiological surveillance on the border with Equatorial Guinea. Tanzania confirmed a few days ago the presence of the Marburg virus on its soil for the first time. And this, following the analysis of the samples taken by the Tanzanian Ministry of Health. The virus has killed five declared infected patients. Three others were hospitalized.
The countries bordering Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda are already “on high alert”.
