If sometimes, the unions can have different interpretations of the situation, at the Good Savior, they are unanimous. FO, UNSA, CGT and Sud agree that social dialogue is almost at a standstill. And that psychiatry is in a poor state.
To restart this dialogue, complicated by several months of struggle, the unions are asking for two symbolic gestures from their management. The first is that the last 34 people not to have obtained the €183 increase in Ségur have them. “These are the forgotten of the forgotten, often the lowest salaries”. “We will not leave anyone by the side of the road”.
And the second that the employees are represented on the board of directors of the foundation. The organizations regret that their various attempts at dialogue with the council have always remained a dead letter.
Despite the latest bonuses, the unions believe that the account is not there. “It doesn’t cover what we’ve lost, let alone with current inflation.”
Staff therefore prefer to work elsewhere. As a result, there are currently 30 vacancies (nurses, nursing assistants, etc.). As for beds, they estimate that they have lost nearly fifty in 5-6 years. “There is no psychiatry without a bed. The walls heal”.
For them today, they no longer heal. “We tinker”.
