In this regard, Dr. Nahla Abdel-Wahhab, a clinical nutrition consultant, warned once morest eating fried chicken in the Ramadan breakfast, because of the serious damage it causes to the health of the body.

Abdel-Wahhab said that frying chicken in oil gives it a high percentage of saturated fats, which pose a great risk to cardiovascular health.
The therapeutic nutrition consultant added that the saturated fats in fried chicken cause an increase in harmful cholesterol in the blood, and thus the incidence of atherosclerosis.

She stressed that weight gain is one of the damages that fried chicken may cause, especially when it is excessive, and the reason is due to its high calories, which may increase if it is eaten with sauces, such as ketchup and mayonnaise, or alongside some foods, such as potatoes and pasta.
Nahla concluded his speech by pointing out the danger of cooked fried chicken in restaurants as well, because the oil that you use to fry chicken is usually used more than once.

Dr. Marwa Mohamed, a clinical nutritionist, agreed with her, stressing the need to stop eating fried chicken, because it might lead to a very serious disease.
The clinical nutritionist explained that fried chicken may contain acrylamide, a substance that has been shown to increase the risk of cancer.
Murora indicated that the high temperature to which the oil used in frying chicken is exposed may cause some of its components to convert to carcinogenic acrylamide.
