A petition has been filed to shut down the social media app ‘Tik Tok’, stating that Tik Tok is spreading obscenity along with wasting time and money, the court should impose a ban.

According to the details, an application was filed in the Lahore High Court to ban Tik Tok, the application was filed by local lawyer Nadeem Sarwar, in which the position was taken that Tik Tok is destructive for the young generation. This is a waste of time and money and obscenity is common.

In the petition, it was said that blackmailing and harassment is increasing with Tik Tok, if Tik Tok is not banned, it will prove to be a killer poison for the Pakistani society, so the court asks the PTA to ban Tik Tok. should be ordered.
The petitioner requested that the uploading of the Tik Tok video should be banned till the final decision of the case.

It may be recalled that a petition was also filed in the High Court Multan Bench yesterday to shut down the social media app ‘Tik Tok’.

In which it was said that the social media website ‘Tik Tok’ is a violation of the Islamic provisions of the Constitution of Pakistan, fundamental human rights, privacy, the website is also a violation of the Islamic code of life, while Tik Tok is a violation of objectionable images and videos of young girls. Also leading to virality.

Justice Ameer Bhatti had asked Chairman PEMRA and Chairman PTA to respond to the request within three weeks.
