Lynn, who has been a familiar voice on Boise morning radio since April 2019, shared the news with listeners, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity and revealing that her choice to step away wasn’t made lightly.
“With a grateful heart, I officially hang up my headphones and “retire” from radio,” Lynn said in a statement. “This decision did not come lightly, as there have been times in my career when I’ve left stations for other radio opportunities; this time, I’m leaving an industry that was my first love.”

Lynn’s radio journey has taken her across the dial and through several markets. Her career started alongside her father, the legendary longtime KBQI Albuquerque morning host Tony Lynn. Before “Kissin’ 92.3 KIZN” she’d also worked on-air at “104.3 Wow Country” KAWO in Boise, KMLE Phoenix, and KUPL Portland, as well as a stint in Fort Collins, Colorado, with 99.1 KUAD, 99.9 KKPL, and 102.5 KTRR.
Her time on KIZN, where she was not only a co-host but also served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director, will likely be remembered fondly by both her colleagues and their dedicated listeners.
Lynn’s final shift will be Friday, December 6th.
“It’s not often in the radio world that you can go out on your terms, and I’m grateful to the Cumulus Boise team for their willingness to work with my timeline,” Lynn explained, highlighting the rare opportunity to make such a decision on her own terms.
Program Director Chris Matthews will continue to anchor mornings for KIZN.
