Good news: Alan Wake Remastered will also grace Nintendo Switch. The game has already been released for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
A real Alan Wake Remastered
Unlike other games that rely on cloud streaming (such as Remedy’s own Control), will Alan Wake Remastered run natively on the Nintendo Switch. Nothing is known regarding the exact release date, the studio was still relatively covered with “Autumn 2022”. Remedy also shared a few other updates to the Alan Wake-Series. As the studio Alan Wake 2 announced in December, Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake said we might learn more regarding the game this summer. There is now a small update in this regard.
Basically, Lake says we’ll have to wait a little longer to get more information regarding the sequel. Nothing to worry regarding, says the studio, everything is going according to plan. “Everything regarding the development of Alan Wake 2 is going really well,” so Lake. “A large part of the game is playable and we are making very good progress. But we’ve talked regarding it for the past few months and we’ve made the decision that we won’t be showing anything big regarding the game this summer.” Alan Wake 2 scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
