Studio Remedy Entertainment did franchise announcement series Alan Wake in honor of the 12th anniversary of the original game.
The first part will be officially released on Nintendo Switch like a remaster recently visited PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The release will take place this fall only in digital format. A demonstration of the port will take place in the coming months.
Confirmed back in 2018, Alan Wake’s TV adaptation has begun to show signs of life. Remedy did not share new details, but announced that she bought the rights to show the series AMC Networksknown from The Walking Dead i Breaking Bad.
upcoming sequel, co-created with Epic Games, got new concept art. The development of the project is going very well and most of it is already playable, however, Remedy warned that there will be nothing special about the game this summer, as the authors strive to make their first survival horror in the best possible way and make a confident first impression. The studio decided not to distract the developers from the current work for the sake of creating a demo or trailer. They will be shown a little later.
Alan Wake 2 is scheduled to release in 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
