In today’s gaming industry, it’s rare to find games that are subject to as much scrutiny as Alan Wake 2. The game, which had few issues upon release, is regularly updated by Remedy, who continues to refine his survival horror little by little.

Alan Wake 2, the new title from Remedy Entertainment, has found its way to the hearts of players. The game is in the running to be crowned video game of the year just a few weeks following its release. The competition is tough, especially with Baldur’s Gate 3 as its main rival. Survival horror has every chance even if it tries to melt GPUs incompatible with DirectX12 Ultimate.
Although he had some optimization issues when launched, the developers improve the game regularly. Recently, no less than 100 fixes were made to the game with Patch 10.
It is now the turn of the twelfth update to resolve the problems of the famous game which alienates nearly 50% of PC players. This patch includes fixes for the PS5 version, graphical improvements and a better DLSS support to improve performance on PC.

Alan Wake 2 continues to be optimized and benefit from improvements of all kinds
So we have on the menu a improvement of the performance mode of the PS5 version but also on PC, the solving visual problems with NVIDIA frame generation technology when switching from real-time rendering to 3D rendering.
That’s not all and global fixes that concern all platforms are also present. This includes correcting spelling errors, lack of visual effects on certain enemies but also bugs that can impact progress of the player (the furniture is still just as recalcitrant).
You can find some examples of corrections below, for the full patch noteyou will have to go to the site de Remedy Entertainment. On the other hand, the studio seems to have abandoned humor a little when writing the patch, too bad.
Global
Players are able to push certain objects that might hinder their progress when returning to a combat zone (you just have to step on them…). Fixed spelling errors. (PC) The message following a GPU crash should be understandable to people who are not Remedy engineers or QA testers.
Performances
(PC) Fixed visual performance of NVIDIA DLSS frame generation when changing from real-time rendering to 3D rendering. (PlayStation 5 Performance Mode) Aggressively walking down the stairs in the nursing home has been optimized. (PlayStation 5 Performance Mode) Streaming performance has been optimized overall but primarily in the hallways outside of room 666 of the OceanView Hotel.
