After allegations by the children of French actor Alain Delon, the judiciary has initiated preliminary investigations once morest his supervisor for mental abuse. “After examining the complaints (of the children), the public prosecutor’s office in Montargis has decided to initiate preliminary investigations,” prosecutor Jean-Cédric Gaux said in the small town in central France on Thursday.
According to the lawyer Christophe Ayela, Delon had participated in the lawsuit with a written statement. The three children of the French actor had filed two lawsuits once morest the 87-year-old’s supervisor in the days before. In the first, the caregiver is accused of mental abuse. After Delon suffered a stroke in 2019, the caregiver moved in with the actor and since then has been “increasingly aggressive, condescending and abusive” towards him and his children.
According to the allegations, she even abused the dog Delons. She prevented contact with his family and friends, monitored his telephone calls and intercepted the mail. “I assume that his weakness was exploited,” said lawyer Ayela on Wednesday.
