David Alaba was voted the best Austrian footballer in 2022. The defender madridista receives this distinction that the Austrian press agency (APA) gives with the votes of the coaches of the championship of this country. Alaba wins this award for the eighth time following the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2021 editions. The defender has won four titles with Real Madrid this season: Champions League, La Liga, European Super Cup and Spanish Super Cup.
