Books – Mohamed Abdel Nasser:
Alaa Mubarak, son of the former president, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, published a post on Twitter, in which he responded to the statements made by Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, about the supplication, “Oh God, heal our sick and Muslim patients” and consider saying that “wrong.”
Alaa said: “Wrong saying! Where is the error in this supplication! On the contrary, a beautiful supplication that spreads tolerance and mercy among Muslims, and this does not prevent that we also pray for every patient to be cured, and that God relieves everyone of disease and calamity, regardless of religion. This is what we have learned with all due respect.” .
The Minister of Awqaf said that he heard the imam of the mosque in one of the mosques praying, “Oh God, heal our sick and the sick Muslims and protect our country and Muslim countries,” explaining that this statement is wrong and calls for discrimination and intolerance.
