Books – Mahmoud Saeed:
Mona Seif, the sister of political activist Alaa Abdel Fattah, said he told them to end his hunger strike.
“Saif” wrote on her Facebook page: “We received an answer from Alaa today, written yesterday, telling us that he has ended his hunger strike and that he will explain everything to us when visiting the family on Thursday.”
The Public Prosecution had stated in a statement on November 10 that it had received a complaint from the inmate’s agent, Alaa Abdel-Fattah, including a request to place him in a hospital to follow up on his health, for his hunger and hunger strike; For his safety and life, he refused to show him to the medical center.
The prosecution stated that “Abdul-Fattah” told the chief prosecutor that he felt psychologically comfortable following he was transferred to the developed Wadi El-Natrun (2) Correction and Rehabilitation Center – he is currently deposited – to enter the sun in the room he is deposited in, clean it, treat him in a decent manner, and allow him to enter books and exercise. Nevertheless, I am partially on strike.
The prosecution indicated that a specialized medical committee examined him and concluded in its report that – following conducting the necessary analyzes and tests for the inmate – that he had decided to eat enough calories daily to maintain his health, and that the analyzes and examinations resulted in his vital signs – blood pressure, pulse, Oxygen, blood sugar, and temperature are all within their normal limits, and the EKG is within its normal range, which indicates that his hunger strike is questionable.
It is noteworthy that Alaa Abdel-Fattah is serving a 5-year prison sentence for spreading false news.
