Al-Marsad Newspaper: Weather analyst Dr. Khaled Al-Zaaq revealed, during a video clip, that he posted on his Twitter account, regarding the weather next week.

And he attached the video clip, with a comment: “Next week, with the cold of Azraq, and the longest nights of the year, get drunk and sleep.”

And he said during the video: “At dawn on Thursday, the sun reaches its maximum inclination, towards the south, meaning that it perpendicular to the orbit of Capricorn, and this means the beginning of the actual cold, and the longest night of the year, because the actual cold does not begin unless the sun deviates from the southern side to the northern side.” And the general public say there is no refund except following leaving.”

And he continued: “Since the sun is 158 km away from us, this day will be delayed until following approximately 7 days, and in total these days we will live in the longest nights and the shortest days of the year.”

He added: If the sun turns from south to north on December 21, we live the longest nights of the year, and if it turns in its movement from north to south on June 21, we live the longest nights of the year, and in the two crossings on March 11 and September 27, the length of the night is equal to the day.
