Today, two races will start in the Al Wathba Stallions Cup at the Bilosti racetrack in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, and Waregem in the Belgian capital, Brussels, with the participation of 17 horses, as part of the “Races of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan” festival.
The Peliostee grass track in Bucharest attracts the first edition of the Al Wathba Stallions Cup, with a prize of 5,000 euros, eight Arabian horses (four years and over) for a distance of 1,700 meters. Nine horses (four years and over) compete in the Belgian Waregem track for the 2300-meter Al Wathba Stallions Endurance Cup, with a prize of 5,000 euros. The festival includes the crown jewel of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Zayed Cup, the Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Cup, the “Al Wathba Stallions” Cup, and the International Forum for Purebred Arabian Horse Racing.
