Al-Sudani discusses with Siemens the development of the electricity sector in Iraq

Baghdad / Obelisk: The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, discussed, on Friday, with the CEO of the German company Siemens, Christian Bruch, the development of the electricity sector.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by Al-Masalla, that “Al-Sudani received, at his residence in the capital, Berlin, the CEO of the German energy company Siemens, Christian Bruch, and during the meeting they discussed mechanisms for cooperation with Siemens in developing the electricity sector, and removing all obstacles that were She faces her work in Iraq.”

The prime minister affirmed, “the government’s determination to provide the necessary funds to implement the memorandum of understanding signed with Siemens on the ground.”

The meeting was attended by the “Minister of Electricity and Advisor to the Prime Minister, Vice President and Responsible for the Middle East of Siemens, and Director of the executive branch of the company in Iraq.”
