Al-Marsad newspaper: The family doctor, Dr. Saud Al-Shehri, revealed the benefits of blueberries for diabetics, and the amount allowed to be consumed per week.
Al-Shehri said, in a video posted on his Twitter account, “Blueberries are excellent for diabetics because they are loaded with antioxidants that maintain the health of the pancreas and liver.”
He pointed out: “The blueberry is rich in vitamin C, which is one of the most powerful antioxidants and is rich in vitamin E and is rich in folic,” noting: “The blueberry reduces harmful fats in the body, reduces triglycerides that cause rumen, raises beneficial cholesterol that cleans blood vessels, protects once morest clots and liver health.”
He continued, “Harvard University recommends eating blueberries 3 times a week,” explaining: “Eating blueberries naturally is better than juice to get the fibers that control pressure, sugar and fats.”
