Al Sharqiya Book Fair kicks off at Dhahran International Exhibition Center Dhahran Expo with book fairs for those who love reading. The latest editions of the publications of around 500 Saudi, Arab and international publishers are displayed for the readers in more than 350 pavilions. (Book fest start at Dammam)
Organized by the Literature, Publication and Translation Commission under the Ministry of Culture, the book fair will continue till the 11th of this month. Officials said that this is also part of the remarkable efforts to bring the best of world cultures to Saudi Arabia. The final days will also feature seminars, symposiums, dialogue sessions, workshops, poetry evenings and poetry recitals performed by the Saudi National Orchestra.
