Hussein Al-Shahat, the Egyptian star of Al-Ahly (Al-Qarn Club), imposed himself as the most Egyptian player participating in the Club World Cup matches.
Al-Shahat played his latest match in the tournament when Al-Ahly collided with Spanish Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the current 2022 edition.
And now the 30-year-old has 12 matches in the Club World Cup, with 4 matches with Al-Ain (the leader), and 8 matches with Al-Qarn Club.
Al-Shahat outperformed the trio consisting of Mohamed Aboutrika, Hossam Ashour, and Wael Jumaa, as their balance of matches in the Club World Cup stopped at 11.
The winger also has 3 goals throughout the Club World Cup, including a goal in the current 2022 edition, and two previous goals with the leader in the 2008 edition.
The opportunity became available for Al-Shahat to raise his match tally to 13 when Al-Ahly will meet Brazilian Flamengo in a match to determine the third-place finisher.
