Al-Shaabani’s lawyer, Laila Koura: Al-Masry did not contact us

Anis Ben Mim, the lawyer of Tunisian Moein Chabani, the former coach of the Al-Masry Al-Port Said team, spoke about the verdict he obtained against the coastal club.

Al-Shaabani had resorted to the International Football Association “FIFA” to complain about the Egyptian club’s dues, which led to the court’s decision to impose a penalty on the Port Said club with a fine of 275,000 dollars. (See details)

Bin Mim said in exclusive statements via “Yalla Koura” today, Thursday, that the court’s decision is preliminary, and the Egyptian club has the right to appeal the ruling.

Regarding the Al-Masry club’s communication with Ben Mim in order to settle the crisis, Al-Shaabani’s lawyer replied: “There was no communication.”

Bin Mim responded about setting conditions for settling the crisis, whether it is installments or reducing the amount: “For every event there is a hadith.”

Al-Shaabani had taken over the Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi team at the beginning of the current season, but the decline in the team’s results led to the management’s decision to dismiss the Tunisian coach and appoint Hossam Hassan.

Al-Masry Al-Port Said team occupies the twelfth place with 33 points, as the team will play this evening against Ismaily in the framework of the 31st week of the Egyptian We League competition.
