Al-Mahdi Al-Mubarak, the new element in the ranks of Al-Ain (the leader), bet on the support of the Moroccan fans of Al-Fateh Rabat, his former club.
The midfielder had recently signed with Al-Zaeem on a 5-year contract, as he is considered one of the most prominent emerging talents in Moroccan football.
In an interview with the official website of Al-Ain Club, Al-Mubarak touched on his association with his compatriot Sufian Rahimi in Al-Ain.
The 21-year-old said, “It is certain that the presence of Rahimi by my side will enhance the competition between us to represent Moroccan football in a strong way.”
Al-Mubarak believes that his presence and Rahimi at “Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium” will “increase the rate of follow-up to the leader’s matches among the Moroccan fans.”
Al-Mubarak explained that the Moroccan fans of Raja Casablanca, the club whose logo Rahimi wore between 2018 and 2021, are already watching Al-Ain matches.
The Moroccan national under-20 footballer continued, “I am confident that the fans of Al-Fateh Club Rabat will, in turn, watch Al-Zaeem’s matches to follow me.”
