Zamalek FC qualified for the Egyptian Cup final for the 2021/2022 season, following overturning its 0-1 delay to win 2-1 over Al-Dakhiliya on Monday, in the round of 32.
Al-Dakhiliyah was the first to score with a goal signed by Samir Fikri in the fourth minute with a shot from inside the penalty area, and the first half ended with this result. Saif Farouk Jaafar equalized for Zamalek in the 59th minute with a superb and powerful shot from outside the penalty area.
And the two teams resorted to the extra two halves following the end of normal time, with a 1-1 tie. Ashraf Bencharki scored the winning goal and qualifying for Zamalek in the 105 + 1 minute with a shot from inside the penalty area.
Al-Ahly won the Egypt Cup in the 2019/2020 season, and this was the 37th title of the Red Genie in the tournament, which is more than he won the title, while Zamalek won the Egypt Cup 27 times, the last of which was in 2019.
