The Saudi Gulf Football Club announced on Sunday that it has signed Portuguese coach Pedro Emmanuel to lead the team as of next season.
Al-Khaleej said in its Twitter account: “Officially, Al-Khaleej Club has signed the Portuguese Pedro Emmanuel as coach of the first football team for the next season.”
The 47-year-old Portuguese had previously participated in two training experiences in the Saudi League with Al-Taawon (2018-2019) and Al-Nasr (2021), and he was crowned with the first with the King’s Cup title, while he supervised the second for only five matches.
The Portuguese coach also passed through Al Ain in the UAE season 2020-2021, and he also coached Almeria (2019) following he started his career first with Academia, with whom he won the Portuguese Cup 2012, before he supervised Arauca (2013-2015) and Apollon of Cyprus, who crowned him with the Cup and the Super Cup. and Estoril (2017).
