Tottenham defeated Leicester City (6-2) in the eighth round of the English Premier League. Yuri Tielemans opened the scoring for Leicester City in the sixth minute to equalize Harry Kane in the eighth minute for Tottenham. Tottenham took the lead in the 21st minute, through Eric Dier, while James Madison equalized in the 41st minute.

But the second half witnessed a great control for Tottenham, Rodrigo Bentancur scored a third goal for his team in the 47th minute following a fatal error in Leicester City’s defenses.
Son Heung-min managed to add the fourth goal for Tottenham in the 73rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Son managed to score his second goal and the fifth for the Roosters, following a pass from Harry Kane, to repeat what he did in his first goal, and hit the net with a missile.

Son also scored his third goal, a “hat-trick”, and the sixth for Tottenham, in the 86th minute, and the referee canceled it on the grounds of an offside case, but the video technology recognized his validity.

With this result, Tottenham are in second place with 17 points, while Leicester City are at the bottom of the standings with one point.
