Al-Ahly Club of Egypt officially announced the signing of Portuguese coach Ricardo Suarez to lead the first team. Al-Ahly wrote on his Twitter account: “They welcomed our new coach, Ricardo Suarez.” Al-Ahly did not reveal the financial details and the duration of the contract of Suarez, who is 47 years old.
Ricardo Suarez worked as a coach for Vesela, Chaves, Desportivo Aves, Academia Coimbra, Sporting Covilha, Morerense and Gel Vicente in Portugal, and he had never achieved any title, according to the transfermarkt website.
