The Lebanese junior national team defeated its Iraqi counterpart, with a clean goal, on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022, in the semi-finals of the ninth West Asian Federation Championship for juniors 2022, which will be hosted by the Jordan Football Association at the Aqaba Development Company stadium.
Lebanon qualified for the final match next Thursday, June 30, to face the winner of the second semi-final match between Syria and Jordan.
Muhammad Yassin scored the only goal of the match in the 43rd minute, following a darbaka in the penalty area to hit the corner to the left of the Iraqi goalkeeper.
