The Jordanian national team achieved a valuable victory at the expense of its Kuwaiti counterpart, 3-0, to succeed in deciding the lead and ensuring qualification for the finals, in the meeting that brought them together, on Tuesday, at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait, as part of the third and final round of Group A competitions in AFC Asian Cup 2023 Qualifiers.
The Jordanian team achieved the third consecutive victory in its third match in the qualifiers, following defeating Nepal and Indonesia 2-0 and 1-0, respectively, to top its group with the full mark with 9 points.
Al-Nashama thus booked its place in the Asian Cup for the fifth time in its history, following participating in the 2004, 2011, 2015 and 2019 editions, while the Kuwait team failed to register its 11th participation in the tournament following its score was frozen at 3 points to confirm its exit from the qualifiers.
