Lebanon settled its meeting with Monaco and won it (3-2) in the important and exciting confrontation that took place within the Davis Cup tennis competition organized by the Lebanese Tennis Federation on the first stadium of Notre Dame University (Zouk Mosbeh) (NDU) under the supervision of the International Federation of the game and over two days within The second world group. Lebanon has boosted its chances of returning to the ranks of the first world group to face its next opponent, which will be determined later in the month of March.

The Monaco team was not up for grabs in front of the Lebanese team, so five matches were held (4 in singles and one in doubles) on Friday and Saturday, and the winning team was determined following the end of the fifth and decisive match, in light of the hysterical encouragement of the game’s fans and in the presence of the President of the Olympic Committee Pierre Galakh, the President of the Tennis Federation Oliver Faisal and the President of the Federation Fencing Jihad Salameh.
