Everton’s struggle to escape relegation increased following losing 3-2 to Burnley at Turf Moor in a postponed match from the 19th stage of the English Premier League on Wednesday.
The victory represents a major boost for Burnley, who is in 18th place, following raising his score to 24 points, following achieving his fourth victory in the league this season.
Everton comes in 17th place with 25 points, and the two teams played 29 matches.
Burnley took a goal in the 12th minute when Maxwell Cornet kicked a corner kick that Nathan Collins converted into a goal once morest Jordan Pickford, to score his first goal for the club.
But the home side’s lead lasted only six minutes, as Richarlison equalized from the penalty spot following a foul on Anthony Jordan inside the penalty area by Shelley Westwood.
Frank Lampard’s team was awarded another penalty four minutes before the break, following returning to the VAR. Richarlison executed the kick successfully for the second time, past goalkeeper Nick Pope.

Cornet grabbed the winning goal following Ben Godfrey missed the ball to reach Mate Vedra and put it back before the Côte d’Ivoire national team player fired into the net to delight the home fans.
