Al-Faisaly team achieved a valuable victory at the expense of its counterpart Al-Wehdat, 1-0, in the match that brought the two teams together, on Saturday evening, at the top of the eighth round of the Jordanian League. Al-Faisaly scored the first goal through Hatem Al-Rushdi in the seventh minute.
With this victory, Al-Faisaly took the lead with 18 points, while Al-Wehdat’s balance stopped at 11 points in fourth place.
In a second match that took place at the same time, Mugheer Al-Sarhan overturned his goal to win a valuable victory over Ma’an, with a score of 3-1, in the meeting that took place at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa. Mugheer Al-Sarhan jumped to sixth place with 10 points, and Ma’an fell to last place with 6 points.
The eighth round kicked off with Shabab Al-Urdun’s victory over its host Ramtha 3-0, and Sahab tied with Shabab Aqaba, 1-1.
