On Sunday, the first leg competitions for the general championship of the U-20 League for the new sports season 2022-2023 started, with the participation of 10 teams, following the withdrawal of the Nejmeh and Ain Baal teams (the leader of the second group of the preliminary stage), and they are: Al-Ahed, Al-Hikma, Al-Shabab Al-Ghazia, Al-Ansar, Al-Ikhaa Al-Ahly Aley, Al-Borg, Shabab Al-Sahel, Al-Safa, Al-Tadamon Tyre and Racing, the leader of the first group. They compete among themselves within one group in a league system of two rounds, home and away.
The tournament began with a match between Racing and Al-Hikma at Al-Safa Stadium, and ended with the victory of the first with two goals without a match, scored by Joseph Aoun and Charbel Batani.
