Spain’s Paula Padusa successfully overcame Czech Petra Kvitova to reach the fourth round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tennis tournament, on Saturday.
Padusa, the fourth in the world, decided the match in two sets without a response, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).
In the next round, the Spaniard will meet Romanian Simona Halep, the 18th seed in the world, who defeated Poland’s Magdalena Fritsch 6-4, 6-1.
