After announcing the signing of the Frenchman, Juventus said: “Paul has returned to Turin. He left as a boy and came back as a man and a hero, but one thing has not changed – the desire to write unforgettable pages of the club’s history together once more. Pogba is back and we might not be happier.”
Daily newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Pogba, 29, will receive a salary of eight million euros per season, in addition to two million euros in bonuses.
Last Saturday, the “Old Lady” club announced the arrival of the French international to the Juventus Medical Center in order to perform routine medical examinations in preparation for his transfer to the team.
Pogba arrived Friday in Turin, according to what the Italian team announced through its accounts on social media.
Juventus tweeted: “He’s back,” as he posted a video clip showing Pogba getting off the plane.
Pogba previously published a video clip, while he was heading from Miami, USA, to Turin, the headquarters of the Old Lady Club. He wore a white and black Juventus-style jacket and said “goodbye” in Italian.
Pogba defended the colors of Juventus between 2012 and 2016 following a first period with United, who graduated from the youth teams.
