The projects, which were inaugurated by the minister yesterday (Sunday), included the expansion of the general hospital emergency, the digital operations department, the laboratory department, the sterilization department, the intensive care for children, and the intensive care for newborns.
It is expected that the Digital Operations Center will perform regarding 18,000 operations annually, while the main hall project includes rehabilitation and equipping it with the latest technology, with a capacity of more than 540 seats.
It is noteworthy that the Minister of Health also witnessed the graduation ceremony of more than 100 male and female family physicians from the Academy of Family Medicine at King Saud Medical City.
