Private sources revealed to Al-Riyadiya that Portuguese Nuno Santo, coach of the first Al-Ittihad Football team, is preparing Portuguese Jota Filipe and Egyptian Ahmed Hegazy to use their services in the Club World Cup, which Saudi Arabia will host next December.
FIFA laws allow foreign players to participate if they are registered in the local game federation system (TMS).
The same sources explained that the technical, administrative and medical bodies are monitoring Hegazy’s rehabilitation program, which is close to entering the final stage, while Jota is training daily with the team, following he was excluded from the list of eight foreign players in the Saudi Roshen League.
