The Ismaili Club’s board of directors, headed by Yahya El-Koumi, decided to stop the dues of the first football team players, in addition to imposing a financial penalty, due to the team’s poor results recently in the general league competitions.
The Ismaili Club indicated, through an official statement today, Thursday, that the decision comes to establish the principle of reward and punishment within the team, especially since the club’s management was keen to provide all support to the players following qualifying for the League Cup semi-finals, in addition to monitoring a double reward to improve the results of the Dervishes during the local competition. .
The technical staff of the Dervish, led by Argentine Juan Brown, was keen to remove the embarrassment from the club’s officials by submitting his resignation in full following the team suffered a 1-0 loss from Pyramids yesterday evening, Wednesday, in the ninth round of the local competition at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.
