Al Hilal wins the Saudi League title…and embarrasses Ronaldo

Saudi Arabia – Al Hilal Club won the title of champion of the Saudi Professional Football League “Roshan” in its favor early by defeating its guest Al Hazm (4-1) in the match that brought them together yesterday, Saturday, in the 31st round of the league.

Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored two goals for the hosts, the first and third in two minutes (15 from a penalty kick, and 45 from a penalty kick), while the third goal came with “friendly fire” scored by Saudi Ahmed Al-Jawad in the 39th minute through an own goal.

The other Serbian player, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, completed the “Leader” quadruple in stoppage time of the first half.

While striker Fayez Soleimani from the Comoros Islands scored the only goal for Al-Hazm Club in the 34th minute of the first half of the match, which took place at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium, in the capital, Riyadh.

Al-Hilal Club thus achieved its 24th consecutive victory, raising its score to 89 points, ensuring its early victory in the title, as it moved away at the top of the league by 12 points from its direct rival, Al-Nasr Club.

Al-Hilal Club won the title for the 19th time during its professional career so far, increasing its record by 10 titles over its closest rivals, Jeddah and Al-Nasr, and then Al-Shabab Club with 6 titles.

On the other hand, Al-Hazm Club’s balance stopped at 20 points, and it remained at the bottom of the league.
