Al-Hilal team achieved a valuable victory over its Gulf counterpart, with two goals without a response, in the meeting that brought the two teams together this evening, Thursday, in the first round of the Saudi Professional League.
Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo scored the first goal for Al Hilal in the 3rd minute of the match, before his Malian colleague Moussa Mariga added the second goal at the 25th minute, to end the match with the leader winning by a clean double.
With this result, Al Hilal team raises its score to the third point in the first place in the Saudi League standings, while the Gulf balance freezes without points in the last place.
Al Hilal is scheduled to face Zamalek on the 9th of next September, in the Lusail Super Cup match, which will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
