Al-Hajri pointed out that there is cooperation with the Russian side in the field of organizing this tournament, and said: “We are cooperating in all aspects, especially at the ministerial and governmental levels with Russia, as well as with other federations responsible for hosting and organizing such games.”
The first Future Games were held from February 21 to March 3 in Kazan, Russia. Its program included combining digital sports with classic sports.
Two thousand people from more than 100 countries participated in the event. The competitions were divided into five “challenges”: sports, tactics, strategy, technology and speed.
The International Sports Forum “Russia – a Sports Country” will be held in the city of Ufa from October 17 to 19. The forum has been held since 2009 and has previously been hosted by the cities of Moscow, Kazan, Saransk, Yakutsk, Cheboksary, Dobrograd, Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kemerovo and Perm.
