“Al-Balam” responds to those who criticize Kuwaiti artists’ participation in artistic events in Saudi Arabia • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Kuwaiti artist Hassan Al-Balam expressed his anger at the criticism of some Kuwaiti artists who attended celebrations and artistic events organized by Saudi Arabia to promote art, describing them as “envy.”

Al-Balam questioned, in denunciation, regarding the secret of these people following their steps with envy, saying: “Sitting only for envy, why are you the enemies of people who go for sustenance, people who appreciate us, stressing the good reception and hospitality of artists in the Kingdom.

Al-Balam explained that the envy he meant is not following the news of the artists and knowing their steps, but by this he means the offensive phrases that some say regarding their support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing this by saying: “They say Al-Balam is up because there are no shortcomings with him.”

He continued, “What regarding it? They invited Souad, Hayat, Al-Ruwaished and Nabil, these are the great art, let them celebrate in Deira, good.. Oh, Saudi singers came and sat in Kuwait and celebrated, we did not say anything, and Muhammad Abdo Yama sang here in Hala February.”

In response to their criticism regarding their support from Saudi Arabia, Al-Balam confirmed: “Oh, you are not negligent with me and those who are sitting support us. People who are sitting appreciate us and appreciate us as a quarter. Say, God is thankful, may God reward you.”

Al-Balam thanked Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the head of the General Authority for Entertainment Turki Al-Sheikh, saying: “May God reward them with good. They celebrate our state and celebrate their brothers and their monastery, and we are one and our destiny is one.”
